BT International Conference Executive Seminar Spotlight on Claude Draillard, Vice President of Finance of Dassault Aviation
Dassault Aviation is a leader in the business jet world. They have the unique capability in the European market to master the development of complex air combat systems. Dassault prides itself on being at the cutting edge of technological innovation in aerothermodynamics and integration of complex airborne systems. Claude Draillard, Vice President of Finance, stressed the importance of man-machine interface as it pertains to the relationship between a pilot and the aircraft.
Sticking with this year’s conference’s theme of putting together the global economy, Draillard said, “We are a globalized industry. Our customers are globalized.” One of the main platforms of his business in regard to globalization is that in an interconnected economy, CEOs need to get places quicker and can do so with Dassault aircrafts because the business jets have much more flexibility in transportation options. With innovation and cost cutting in mind, Draillard stressed the importance of adapting to the market environment in order to successfully sustain economic growth.
