Interested in sports? Business Today’s Seminar Series proudly invites you to a conversation with Jonathan Mariner, CFO of Major League Baseball (MLB). In addition to his daily responsibilities for overseeing MLB’s central office budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, and risk management activities, Mr. Mariner's duties include overseeing all Club-level financial reporting through the team CFO's, administering MLB's $1.5 billion league-wide credit facility, and providing updates at Owners' Meetings on the industry's financial health. Mariner's heightened public profile and responsibilities caused Sports Illustrated to rank him as No. 11 on its 2003 list of the 101 most influential minorities in sports. Bringing The Dialogue To Princeton's Campus

As Princeton is primarily a liberal arts institution with an eye towards undergraduates, the University looks to Business Today as its main forum and face for on-campus interaction with business leaders through the ongoing Seminar Series. Our seminars for 2010 brought companies to campus from far and wide, such as Under Armour, JP Morgan, and Universal Studios for events ranging from exclusive dinners and coffee chats to larger-scale recruiting events to widely attended lectures. This year we’ve expanded to host our first-ever international visitors, beginning with Michael Naylor from Canopy Capital in London. Through this program, we create custom experiences and valuable relationships for our student participants and executive supporters.
