Business Today’s trustees advise the undergraduate officers in finance, programming, and management. As former members of Business Today—now leaders in their respective industries—trustees are integral to the continued success of our organization.


Alison lee ‘24

TRUSTEE CHAIR

Alison is serving as the Trustee Chair, having been President in 2023. At Princeton, she studied computer science with a certificate in entrepreneurship. She was a member of the Princeton Women's Fencing varsity team and began the Princeton FemaleFounded Conference. She currently works at BCG as a consulting associate and is an incoming Schwarzman Scholar.

CORDELIA LOWRY ‘23

PROGRAMMING CHAIR

Cordelia Lowry was Director of the 2021 Design Nation Conference. She expanded the event to include international attendees and founded DN’s brand partnership with Conran Design Group.

Cordelia graduated from Princeton in 2023 with a BA in Sociology. She currently works at Goldman Sachs in the Alternatives Capital Formation Group in New York City.

Roger chen ‘21

MANAGEMENT CHAIR

Roger Chen was the Director of the 45th International Conference (2019) and also served as a New York Corporate Contacts Manager, raising over $270k in donations for Business Today. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Director of Logistics for the 44th International Conference (2018). During his BT tenure, Roger worked on reducing conference costs, while simultaneously maintaining a strong experience for attendees. 

He currently resides in New York City and works as a Private Equity Associate at Neuberger Berman, a global investment management firm. Originally from Connecticut, Roger graduated from Princeton University in 2021 with a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Beau is a Managing Partner at Agellus Capital, a private equity firm focused on driving transformational growth in essential services companies. He currently serves on the boards of Bluejack Fire, CompassMSP, and Highgrove Partners. Prior to co-founding Agellus, he worked for nearly 15 years at Audax Private Equity. Originally from New Orleans, he graduated from Princeton in 2009 with an AB in Economics. He lives in Boston with his wife Jennifer and four children. 

william neumann ‘27

PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE

William Neumann '27 was the former director of the Seminars Team, Alumni and Executive Relations Team, and helped lead the Corporate Contacts program. During his time leading the Seminars team, he brought more than 40 executives to Princeton's campus, including economist and former CEA Chair Gregory Mankiw and Toll Brothers Senior Vice President Fred Cooper. He is majoring in Economics with minors in Finance and Political Economy. He also helps lead various organizations on campus, including the Federal Reserve Challenge Team, the Cliosophic Society, and Tiger Investments. William is originally from Alabama and plans to work in private equity after school.

Jack Hartman '24 is a bond trader at Stifel Financial Corp. in their Century City office, trading mostly municipal securities. As an undergraduate, he was a Corporate Contacts manager covering the South region, and was also a director of Alumni Relations. Originally from Washington, DC, he received a Bachelor of Arts in History as part of the Class of 2024, with a focus on financial history, as his thesis explored the development of the United States' financial services sector in the 1980s. He lives in Los Angeles. 

HEATHER MACLEAN ‘94

PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE

Heather (Beach) Maclean ’94 is a New York Times-bestselling author. After graduating Princeton with a degree in English Lit, Heather worked for The Walt Disney Company, launching several of their award-winning websites. She also accompanied Sir Richard Branson on a trip around the world for the televised show The Rebel Billionaire. At Business Today, she was the Director of Advertising and then Publisher of the magazine. She currently resides in Michigan.

Akshat agarwal ‘26

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Akshat is a third-year undergraduate at Princeton University studying mathematics with minors in history, statistics, and applied math. He previously served on the International Conference and Technology teams, as a Corporate Contacts manager in the south, and as the 2024 President of Business Today.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Michael is a Partner in the Houston office of Bain & Company, a leading global strategy and management consulting firm. He is a key member of Bain’s Energy and Natural Resources practice, where he focuses primarily on helping his clients with projects relating to strategic planning, operational performance improvement, and operating model design. Michael has a particular interest in the disruptive impact of the energy transition across a wide range of industries and markets. He has worked with top companies across four continents in in business areas spanning oil & gas, infrastructure, and utilities. While a student member of Business Today, Michael served as President, Director of the International Conference, and a Corporate Contacts Manager (for three summers, in three different regions!). A Trustee since 2007, Michael has been a member and Chair of the Finance Committee and the Endowment Advisory Board. Michael holds an A.B. in Economics and Finance, phi beta kappa, from Princeton University. He lives in Houston with his wife, son, and daughter.

rON GONEN ‘98

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Ron Gonen helps lead the investment team as a Managing Director at Allianz Life Ventures, the US corporate venture capital arm of the global insurance and asset management company.  Previously, he was an investment analyst at the Princeton endowment (PRINCO), Franklin Templeton, Gems, and a large family office.  Ron is currently an informal advisor to the Fitz Gate Venture fund that invests in Princeton affiliated startups, and is a Venture Advisor at Rebalance Capital, an early-stage impact investment fund.  Ron graduated from Princeton with a degree in Economics, earned an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School where he participated in the Value Investing program, and has received the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
